As the President of the Law Office of Johnn S. L. Osborn, PC, Johnn leads a dynamic practice that spans various legal domains, including Cannabis law, Small Business, Estate Planning, Criminal Record Restoration (Expungements), Criminal Defense, IPRA (Inspection of Public Records Act), and select Land Use and Real Estate Matters. Johnn's commitment to public service is evident in his past role as Prosecutor on behalf of the people of New Mexico. Johnn served as a Deputy District Attorney from June 2019 to April 2021 at the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office in Albuquerque, NM, where he was at the forefront of justice, managing critical initiatives such as the Community Justice Initiative, which included leading the Diversion Programs within the DA's office, and facilitated the implementation of LEAD (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion) in Albuquerque. His leadership also extended to managing the Metropolitan Preliminary Hearing Team and active participation in various judicial-related groups.

From January 2017 to June 2019, Johnn served as the Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Office of the First Judicial District Attorney in Santa Fe, NM. During his tenure, he managed LEAD Santa Fe and Rio Arriba, Diversion Programs, and the Intake Division. He was an essential member of the Santa Fe Prevention Alliance and the Santa Fe Municipal Drug Taskforce, demonstrating his dedication to improving the well-being of the community.

Prior to establishing Land of Enchantment Law, Johnn honed his legal skills as an Associate Attorney at The Robert R. Cooper Law Firm in Albuquerque, NM, from 2014 to 2016, where  he handled a wide array of cases in Federal, State, and Local courts, specializing in criminal defense, from first-degree felonies to petty misdemeanors.

His early career in public service included a role as an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Second Judicial District Attorney, State of New Mexico, from 2010 to 2014, where he vigorously prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, from first-degree violent felony offenses to petty misdemeanors, contributing to the pursuit of justice in the community.

Johnn is actively engaged in legal community service and leadership, exemplified by his roles in various esteemed clubs and associations. He currently serves as a Board Member for the New Mexico Cannabis Law Section, where he contributes his expertise to shape evolving legal frameworks. Additionally, his dedication to preserving legal history is evident as the Co-Chair of the New Mexico Bar Association Historical Committee. Johnn has previously made contributions as a former member of the New Mexico Bar Ethics Committee, the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the New Mexico District Attorney's Association, underscoring his commitment to the advancement of legal ethics and advocacy.

Johnn is an alumnus of the University of New Mexico, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2010, and Texas State University-San Marcos, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2006.

Outside of his legal endeavors, Johnn enjoys the history of New Mexico, fly fishing the mountains of New Mexico, camping with friends and family, and exploring the Gila Wilderness. He is also dedicated to pro bono representation, exemplifying his commitment to making legal assistance accessible to those in need.
